My wife and I are sailors with our own boat, who sail between different countries. currently we are in the Caribbean, having sailed from Turkey, Europe, Tunisia and Morocco last year. We rely heavily on Starlink for safety, navigation and staying connected to family. The 90 day restriction on transferring makes it impossible to use Starlink with the new 30 day restriction of use outside country of registration.

We travel full time by sailboat and depend on starlink for homeschooling, weather, and communications. If the proposed changes are implemented we will be unable to afford this service. We sincerely hope that you consider the he implications on travellers like us and that you adjust them to allow us to continue using starlink.

we will be traveling between countries frequently and even having a backup starlink on board does not solve the restriction the 90 day transfer creates.

I live full-time on my sailboat. Starlink is a gamechanger for me. However, the recent policy change makes using the Starlink service an enormous inconvenience for those of us sailing constantly from one country to the next.
