We are a family that lives on a sailboat and relies on Starlink to stay connected to much needed weather info, and to family back home. We can’t simply “return to home country” to reset every 30 days. That’s not how sailboats work.

If Starlink wants to be the revolutionary and disruptive communications company it claims to be, it must find a better way to allow users to Ravel the world within regulatory requirements. Dont impose difficulties where there are none.

We will be cruising on our boat visiting many different countries. Starlink can be the answer to all our communication and safety needs, but this rule, let alone the 30 day rule, is making it unsustainable.

My wife and I are sailors with our own boat, who sail between different countries. currently we are in the Caribbean, having sailed from Turkey, Europe, Tunisia and Morocco last year. We rely heavily on Starlink for safety, navigation and staying connected to family. The 90 day restriction on transferring makes it impossible to use Starlink with the new 30 day restriction of use outside country of registration.

We travel full time by sailboat and depend on starlink for homeschooling, weather, and communications. If the proposed changes are implemented we will be unable to afford this service. We sincerely hope that you consider the he implications on travellers like us and that you adjust them to allow us to continue using starlink.

Safety and constant communication are the reasons why Starlink is necessary - don’t take it out of reach for the largest slice of customers.
