Rats can pick up bacteria, and parasites from the trash and sewers. They can also transmit harmful pathogens like Salmonella & E coli through urine and droppings. Very unsanitary! The school district needs to take care of this situation immediately.

I have 2 nieces who attend this school. It is important to me that this issue be resolved quickly in order for the students and staff to be able to concentrate on what’s important, teaching & learning.

School Districts must provide a safe, sanitary and pest free learning environment. Districts are legally required to fix rat infestation promptly using Integrated Pest Management protocols securing structural entry points, managing waste and complying with State pesticide notification laws before applying any chemical treatments.

Our children nee a safe environment to learn and grow. As a community tax payer, I want to make sure their school is free of rats and other rodents! The rodents and the feces they leave creates and unhealthy environment.

This is unsafe and unhealthy for the kids attending as well as the employees. All parties should be able to come to school in a clean and healthy environment. The school should be shut down until the Rats are all clear and everything has been investigated thoroughly and thoroughly in-fumigated. All teachers and students should be excused until further notice with either virtual online classes or work packets sent home and teachers should still be sent home with pay until further notice.

Rats are unsafe for the school and we shouldn’t have to deal with with no more.

Students should learn in a clean environment, our school is near a hillside so critters and bugs are ONLY natural especially since we are such a large school with food and students who litter it's a goldmine. I do think regardless of that Cajon shouldn't have dead rats lying around or in the ceilings. They can't get rid of the rats entirely or forever that's kind of silly to believe but they can sure as hell clean up the rats and make it more hygienic even with the rats.

Because this is clearly distracting students from learning, and students should be able to learn in a safe environment.

Students shouldn't have to be anxious about rats coming in classrooms. This is unacceptable how the school isn't doing NOTHING. if they shut this down, it just proves that the school will try to promote that this is a " perfect, safe community " when it clearly isn't. Rats can be a huge fucking problem if not treated soon enough. Please stay safe yall.

I want to learn in a cleaner and safer environment. Most students shouldn't learn in a building with potential diseases that threaten us.

I find it funny how when a restaurant had rats they get shut down but when I school had rats all they put is rat traps. I seen one in the kitchen and even though they don't cook the food, the open pizza boxes form lunch today attracts rats. Don't hit the rats though with rat traps and glue traps, call someone who can take the rats without hurting them and bring them somewhere else. I seen a rat last year in a glue trap as it tried to pull away, that's a painful way to die, starving
