I would like fireworks to be silent in order to avoid harm to animals and to vulnerable people and children. Only silent fireworks should be on sale and restricted to public displays.

I have seen how terrified animals can become by the sound of fireworks plus how stupid thoughtless and ridiculous some individuals can be when setting them.

There is no need for fireworks need to be so loud and it's tragic to hear animals bot pers and livestock being literally scared to death as well as veterans with pdsd and vulnerable people being affected.

Animals don’t understand that it’s not a danger to them. My dog and cats are absolutely terrified by them.

Terrified animals from the loud bangs. My dog is petrified, shaking, as for the poor wildlife and farm animals these noisy fireworks have to be banned!!

The volume of current fireworks is terrifying domesticated animals as well as wildlife. It's out of all proportion and not in keeping with living in a National Landscape and it's endangered species.

Because the welfare of all these poor animals, pets and wildlife, is of the greatest concern to me

Loud fireworks can instantly kill bats, which are all protected species, by bursting their ear drums.

I have no desire to ban fireworks! However, the concussive noise levels from the latest fireworks cause too much upset for animals and I feel these really loud 'bombs' should be curtailed. They're now similar to military type explosives. Enjoy the fireworks by all means, but I feel a visual display without colossal bangs, gives just as much pleasure to most.

People and animals (of all types, wild and domestic) are being traumatised by the level of noise in modern fireworks. It’s not necessary to have such loud bangs. Fireworks can still be enjoyed if quieter. I feel they should also be confined to organised displays. Anyone who has worked a casualty shift on fireworks night should support banning all private buying and displays.

I feel so sorry for all the animals that suffer with so much noise. It can be terrifying for both wild and domestic animals.

So many animals and humans struggle with the noise of fireworks, i love the visual display & the history behind but animals shouldn't suffer because of it, why not get rid of the noise so we have the best of both worlds

I’ve seen what it does to animals ,there really is no need for them to be so loud.
