Live in this road and feel the speed limit is far too high for narrow roads and the volume of traffic including school buses so please lower the limit to keep everyone safe

There have been 2 serious accidents in the last year or so which caused life changing injuries to those involved. The road narrows considerably at Newtown by the cottages I’m surprised more accidents don’t happen. Vehicle access from the cottages is through a small lane straight onto the road where you cannot see far because of the bend in the road. Reducing the speed limit would benefit all road users and those living in the cottages.

We drive this road regularly. It's crazy and very dangerous to allow 60mph through Newtown. It's a narrow road with cottages right on the road. 60mph is far too fast for the Fowey road as a whole, but especially for Newtown.

60 mph through that area is ridiculous. Reducing the speed will most definitely help avoid any further serious accidents.

We have already had at least 2 near fatal accidents on this road. It is far too narrow for a 60 mile/ hour speed limit. There is a fatal accident waiting to happen!

I live in Fowey and the B3629 between Fowey and the A390 is a nightmare. A reduction in the speed limit through Newtown would be much appreciated.

The 60mph limit through Newtown is far too dangerous and 20mph would be safer. The road is used by large vehicles and the road is narrow, add to that the bends so not good visibility. You often have to pull over into peoples drives/laybys to let the larger vehicles through.
It definitely needs the 20 mph speed limit and more signs of hazards.

So important to slow the traffic right down through Newtown. People live here!

The speed limit of 60 is ridiculous for this narrow road, so close to houses. It is dangerous for drivers passing each other and for pulling out from Newtown cottages on to the main road. You take your life in your hands each time ! Please reduce this from 60 to 40 or 30 before another accident happens.

The speed limit here is far too fast particularly with the blind bend & narrowing if the carriageway, there have been two serious accidents within the last 18 months resulting in serious injuries!

Two serious accidents recently...a narrow one car width road in places, heavy traffic with cars, boats, tractors, caravans, lorries - all driving far too fast. No pavements here either for pedestrians so people have to walk in the road and leap back into the hedges to avoid being knocked over!

As a resident I have witnessed and supported victims of accidents whilst waiting for police and medics to arrive – we must do something to raise awareness reduce the speed and make people know that this is a narrow road with buses tractors et cetera coming towards them.
