No pavements here so people are forced to walk in the road with vehicles tearing past at speeds far in excess of sensible limits. Recently a life changing accident happened yet again...how many more have to occur before something is done?

We have land that we rent in Newtown and it is extremely dangerous when exiting the lane to The highway as you cannot see in either directions it is not possible to make the entrance any bigger so therefore a lower speed limit would make it a lot safer for us entering the highway also people use that road like it's a racetrack.

After 2 recent life changing accidents action is required to improve the safety of this section of road both by reducing the speed limit and improving the signage to point out the danger of poor lines of sight of on comming traffic

I used to live in Newtown. The traffic going to ,and leaving Fowey always goes too fast. The road is narrow, and sight lines are not good. Very dangerous.

That road is deadly at 60mph. There have been 2 serious accidents recently and the next one could be fatal. It needs to be changed quickly..

Live in this road and feel the speed limit is far too high for narrow roads and the volume of traffic including school buses so please lower the limit to keep everyone safe

There have been 2 serious accidents in the last year or so which caused life changing injuries to those involved. The road narrows considerably at Newtown by the cottages I’m surprised more accidents don’t happen. Vehicle access from the cottages is through a small lane straight onto the road where you cannot see far because of the bend in the road. Reducing the speed limit would benefit all road users and those living in the cottages.
