We live in a world where rapists and abusers get a slap on the wrist for the most heinous crimes a person can commit. DV isn’t taken seriously by law enforcement. Women are constantly told there’s “nothing to be done” unless they’re actively getting attacked when they show up. Nothing is done until they are already dead. Susan Brown has already served 23 years for something she shouldn’t have been convicted for in the first place. Nobody should be in that prison in Ypsilanti - Huron Valley is full of black mold and women there are dying from illnesses because of it. Gretchen needs to release all the women from that prison.
