So little is left wild in Florida. The mangroves need to be protected for erosion and bird sanctuaries. Developers just buy and push to see what they can get developed with no regard to the environment. Our seas rise and fall it’s the natural process as Hurricane Helene has proven. Perhaps a development plan for growth should be in place for what area and the effects that the people who live in manatee county More development only seems to cause more flooding issues in areas that had no issues.

God created this beautiful piece of shoreline over thousands of years, a unique habitat that hundreds of creatures call home. Now a grotesque megalomaniac billionaire seeks to destroy it. Once it's gone will everyone be grateful that there are no natural shorelines left in Sarasota Bay which for the most part is already a giant toilet bowl. When you don't have an appreciation for the natural world but rather a lust for self indulgence via destruction you are a parasite

The thought of developing 165 acres of Sarasota’s largest remaining tract of mangroves is horrifying. Mangroves are essential to protecting this coastline from devastating storm surge. This area is a paradise that provides countless recreational opportunities and a home to countless species including endangered marine birds and mammals. Do not develop this land.
