But our beaches and habitats - brimming with fish and birds, sand and waves - become more rare, more developed and more polluted every year. Preserving Manatee County's ecosystem is more important than providing waterfront homes. Beruff has mowed down pristine land to build crackerjack homes, clog our roads with more people and cars. He buys our commissioners who allow him to get away with paying rediculously minimal impact fees that taxpayers are left to pay. Commissioners vote to steal homes via eminent domain for the sake of over development. Beruff keeps taking more. It has to stop.
