The thought of developing 165 acres of Sarasota’s largest remaining tract of mangroves is horrifying. Mangroves are essential to protecting this coastline from devastating storm surge. This area is a paradise that provides countless recreational opportunities and a home to countless species including endangered marine birds and mammals. Do not develop this land.
