We live near the proposed development and fear further destruction of mangroves and wetlands buffer that protect our homes. Also, further development of another 2500 homes will further stress our already strained infrastructure, resources, traffic congestion, etc.

Manatee County needs to protect the last bit of undeveloped shoreline along Sarasota Bay. We need wetland buffers and this project would be detrimental to the sensitive ecosystem.

We need to keep the natural ecosystem of our Florida coastlines in order to protect them from sea wave erosion. The proposed permit destroys “nature’s” protection.

County infrastructure can’t handle more development, and we are quickly destroying what little bit of wetlands are left. Stop the greed

Corrupt politicians, developers and cronyism are plentiful everywhere, including coastal Florida counties. But our beaches and habitats - brimming with fish and birds, sand and waves - become more rare, more developed and more polluted every year. Don't let this particular developer - who has wielded his influence in destroying and developing natural beaches along both the east and west coast of Florida - have his way.

We need to protect and keep our wetlands and stop these developers from destroying our environment.

Enough Mr Beruff Wetlands belong to us all and the future health and safety of our coastline environment. Coastline development can happen without the destruction of wetlands. ACofE please protect the vulnerable from short term monetary interest.

Preserving Manatee County's ecosystem is more important than providing waterfront homes. Beruff has mowed down pristine land to build crackerjack homes, clog our roads with more people and cars. He buys our commissioners who allow him to get away with paying rediculously minimal impact fees that taxpayers are left to pay. Commissioners vote to steal homes via eminent domain for the sake of over development. Beruff keeps taking more. It has to stop.

We need to stop the aggressive efforts to destroy our natural areas and do a better job of controlling ongoing extreme development of our area.

I am tired of the destruction of our towns, wetlands, habitats, our way of life! These developers are about the almighty buck no matter what they destroy!
