Enough is enough. This destructive plan must be stopped to protect the bay and its wildlife.

Beruff has more than enough land to have an acceptable development with endangering the wildlife and ecology of the area...

protection of the ecology leads to better tourism and seasonal business outcomes. Not to mention natural protection from storm surge and annual heavy wether. Deny this!

There is no reason why a property cannot be developed properly while maintaining mangroves. Respect the environment if you don't one day your grand kids or great grand kids will not have the same opportunity you did of enjoying a live bay teaming with fish and crabs and all that goes with it. It is simply about doing what is right.

Because God made those, for a reason..to protect our shorelines from irosion...and to give fish and other living things, a place to hide their young...and keep our waters full of sea life.. without those mangroves.. there would be no place for fish to be protected ....their young..their babies...to repopulate our oceans and bays....

This project, which invades and destroys our protected wetlands, is reflective of the rapid overdevelopment presently going on near the bay.

Magroves are vital for storm and wildlife protection, as well as overall sea water health.

That area is the last untouched, pristine area. It is home to countless creatures. The mangroves are a natural erosion barrier. They are also homes for many nesting birds. Protect Long Bar Point!

This development will only benefit a few and is irreversible. Use common sense and science

I don't know much about buffers and wetlands, but I know I am against more development, especially along the water.

We made Bradenton our permanent residence four year ago. Since then we have been extremely disappointed with the amount of development and other changes affecting our quality of life and our environment that do not seem to matter to investors and politicians looking out for their own interests, From what we have learned about this project, it raises some serious questions about the potentially negative effects on coastal properties as well the unique natural features that need preservation.

If we don't preserve Florida now, there will be no "natural Florida" left for our grandchildren.

We strongly object to this gabion wall as it will severely impact the mangroves and natural shoreline.

Thank you so much for creating the petition and working tirelessly to prevent this damage to Longbar Pointe. This level of political corruption is intolerable.
