He is a developer. He has never cared about our estuary nor our living environment. He wants to and will profit in this matter!

We must protect our natural resources in Florida. Sarasota Bay needs a natural buffer zone and developers should not be allowed to destroy the area.

We must protect our natural wetland buffers. Developers look for new ways to proceed until they get what they want. Vanishing wetlands and natural habitats ultimately have negative effects for the community.

This is a beautiful state that needs to be protected, people that apply for these types of changes are not friends of Florida, are just out for the money.

We have lost so many mangroves that buffer the effects of rising sea level. What C. Beruff proposes will destroy the trees that currently remain, in an area where so few still exist. Stop the madness!

We now know through mistakes of our past how important a mangrove coast is to our waterfront community. Do not repeat this mistake at Long Bar. Enforce the 100 ft buffer, save the mangroves and save the shoreline.

This destruction will have long-lasting impacts that will harm the environment and reduce the natural storm protection that mangroves provide.

As a local born and raised in Sarasota that has spent thousands of days of my life on our beautiful waters the longbar area is a very special place. It is the last untouched piece of shoreline and acts as a giant estuary for many species of fish, turtles, birds, manatees, dolphins and so much more. Modifying this pristine piece of shoreline at all would be a huge loss for all the locals and this last natural resource. As a community we need to stand up and protect what we have left.

This is a horrible thing to do to our coastline and wetlands. This will have severe impact on wildlife, coastal shorelines, and our environment as a whole.

Sarasota Bay is one of the reasons we live here and it is an amazing natural amenity. The bay is already faced with so many water quality issues. Please protect our wetlands and our natural hurricane buffer.

Stop destroying the small amount of natural environment left; many of us rely on it for a living.
