We need to protect what we have left. Mangroves are important in so many ways. I care about the air, fisheries, wild life, and hurricane protection. Just wake up and stop being greedy and selfish.

We have lost so much already. Something needs to be done to stop this destruction. Florida is my family's home going back 3 generations, and a very special part of the world. Sarasota especially. It is slipping through our fingers in the name of greed. :(

I am a FL native and an environmental scientist locally for the past 7 years and our entire FL ecosystem will be destroyed if we keep allowing this destruction. It’s our “leaders” that are choosing to turn Florida into a toxic soup, not the Florida natives that were born here and not the communities of people that live here!! We, the tax payers, don’t agree with these law changes that hurt our fragile wildlife and our voices should be heard!

I am signing because:
-this decision should include consideration ion of the entire connected mangrove shoreline.
-doesn’t adequately address the impacts to sea-level rise.
-eliminates a functioning natural wetland buffer that will be irreversible.

I Grew up here and I believe they have ruined enough. Not enough pine trees or oak trees they replace everything with palm trees that don’t give enough shade ect…..they have destroyed the parks and land.
