I'm opposed to developer Carlos Beruff's permit which would allow him to destroy the largest string of mangroves in Sarasota Bay.

The developer has been angling to obliterate the mangroves all along. There is no intention to respect nature's systems of protection and filtration nor the environment, as shown clearly by the decimation of land and wildlife habitat in this development and SeaFlower. Floridians must resist and reject this constant pressure and greed of developers.

This is what protects us from Hurricanes and flooding, besides the eco system. I know the view and smell may not be good but what is proposed is detrimental.

Carlos Berouff has gotten away with so many ridiculous bending the rules b.s. no way should this be allowed. Our Commissioners are unconscionable and NOT looking out for the best interest of us residents.

Florida's primarily made up of mangroves and limestone if we keep destroying those we are going to eventually destroy Florida and it will no longer be not only that we're destroying the sea life and the environment around it STOP!!!!
