I believe the no buffer wetland permit request submitted by Carlos Beruff only benefits Mr. Beruff. Building the wall he proposes will be detrimental to our community and the environment.

Stop the criminal Carlos the land grabber. His shameful conduct at SWFWMD should say it all and the waste of taxpayer money to continuously reject his plans should be charged to him.

As an Avid Fly Fisherman , this Myriad of Mangroves are the life of Sarasota Bay, this a haven for young fish to hide and grow before venturing out into the bay, this wetland area is one of the last natural habitats for fish , birds to live in , enough of Sarasota bay has been destroyed by Developers,
There has to be a line that these developers cannot cross, to me it’s common sense, leave it as nature intended, plus a wall is Bloody Ugly, and When it fails who pays

A wall prevents natural water mitigation. It also creates a rise in water levels in other places which can cause flooding in places that did not flood prior to a wall being erected.

We need to stop any and all development that harms natures buffers.
Once it is gone the flooding will follow. Then where are the developers to help fix their mistake? I can guess, nowhere to be found! So, let's put the brakes on developers damaging our protection areas PERIOD!
