In Kentucky .. they give grandparents no rights!! If it wasn’t for my mamaw helping my mom … I don’t know where I’d be or who I would have turned out to be!!

Adult children should not be allowed to ban loving Grandparents from seeing their own Grandchildren. This is especially true when the reason for non visitation is never given. Personally, Ive asked countless times for a reason, yet 9 months later no reason. I had a wonderful relationship with mine. I haven't seen them since Xmas eve 2025, when I took their presents to them, and my son and daughter n law. I feel so sorry for them. They need to know their loved by me. Please allow us rights to vis

I am a grandmother and have been through the same situation. My granddaughters have a very narcissistic controlling father and has always withheld the granddaughters from my family. We cannot get the court system to set visitation schedules between mom and dad. CPS has been called multiple times on him. Recently for abusing my oldest granddaughter state police and CPS has done nothing about it. Attorneys just bill and use all of funds up and never get the case taken in front of the judge.

I have tried to get something like this started in KY. Could not get the representation in Clark Co. to help at all. City of Winchester.
I haven’t seen my grandchildren in 4 years their father shot and killed my daughter in May of 23. I have taken him to court to try and get visitation. To no avail. The laws in KY for grandparents rights is the same in other states that I have researched. I’m willing to help you to do anything to get this changed. Please text me so we can chat please.

I’m signing because I think that Grand Parents should have right too just like the non custodial parent. They should get visitation rights too because if the non custodial parent loses their rights why should the grandparents lose theirs because of something stupid the parents done. I think grandparents right should be handled just like the non custodial parents rights.
