I’ve been watching this lake with family for over 4 decades. Not sure we can even let our little ones play in it this year. So sad.

I feel strongly about the wildlife and safety of those who get into the lake to swim.

I have lived here most of my life. The lake is in the worst condition ever. We forgot to mention the fertilizer a lawn chemicals that came with the valpo neighborhoods.

What is Laporte doing around pine and stone lake? I was just there and that water looks so healthy and the fish/wildlife are thriving! Preserve and protect our lake and community for that matter!

North Valpo has 1 last chance to get an enlightened, re-envisioned, non-polluting stormwater plan for the whole area north of the line of demarcation.amd /or the Lake Michigan watershed sign on Valparaiso St. A new plan needs to be done with extreme carefulness and be made a priority project for the city engineer to look at the watershed in a new light. And quickly. The status quo is simply is not enough.
