They never have vehicles when we go there to report anything especially at night. They need a vehicle present at all times .

A police vehicle is an important part arm that enables its police officer to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. The pacific harbour police post carters for a large population and area of living. Everyday and everyday week their service is required while responding to complaints and attending these complaints in a timely manner requires transport. Waiting for an available transport from another station to arrive to the complainant seriously affects the effectiveness of their duties

I was fortunate to have the burglar caught in my house at the time of reporting. However, he had been going in and out of our house for a week stealing things every day or so and throwing them over the back fence.

We got broken into but did not report it to the Police as we know the current Police response is underwhelming - to put it politely. A police Vehicle will help BUT only if they look after it and it is dedicated for the Pac Harbour Area Only. The Vehicle will have to be maintained and serviced or else it will end up like most Government Vehicles - in the scrap yard awaiting repair!

I live in Pacific Harbor area and one of the important things we need is a good community watch neighborhood but better resourced police to patrol the area and respond quickly to requests for assistance.

Safety over the years people have settled in Pacific Harbour,but because of bad experiences they have had e.g.burgled beaten up put in hospital,they have packed up and moved elsewhere in the world or gone back home everybody would like to feel safe in their own home but.

Police are not real police if they dont have transport, and requiring residents to send a car or to pick pick them up is pathetic and totally ineffective policing. If an officer abuses the vehicle or wrecks it, fire them and find someone more responsible

Simply, it is the right thing to do, with a Community the size that we are, and our Villas sprawled across a vast area of Land Mass, including a large Lake and River. There is no way this can be managed with walking Policemen. A Police vehicle has to be allocated, so that our Men on duty can be efficient with positive results at the end of their day or night shift. There is no other option, other to have an efficient Police Force, dedicated to looking after their Community.

Recently neighbors are saying there have been break-ins and we could definitely use regular police petrols in the area and keep our neighborhood and community safe and peaceful.
