We, the residents of Deerwood Chase, Gates 3 and 4, hereby request that playing equipment (such as swing, slide, monkey bar) be installed for children in our main park. Currently, the children in our community do not have any playing equipment . Such equipment help children stay active, build balance and coordination, and spend time with other children in a safe, shared space.

Almost all other parks in the Nirvana pockets already have swings for children. Our park should have the same basic play options so our children are not left out and our families can enjoy the same kind of community space.

We respectfully request that the following be added to our park in Deerwood:
1. A pair of swings
2. A monkey bar, mid-height and not very high
3. A slide, mid-height and not very high

These additions would make the park more useful for young children and would give parents a place where their children can play, mingle, and develop together. We have also submitted signed petitions from all interested parents in support of this request.

We request that this be taken seriously and moved forward as soon as possible for the benefit of the children and families of Deerwood Chase.
