We shouldn’t have to travel to enjoy our parks. Especially when there is one close by!

“Get outside and play,” they say. “When I was a kid, we were always outside…” Yet there isn’t even a safe playground in the neighbourhood.
The response shouldn’t be, “Just drive to another one,” either. Kids deserve a safe place in their own neighbourhood to explore, create, play, and be active.

They can spend 12,000 on a painting in city hall I am sure they can spend that on a local playground. Much more value.

My kids are growing up in the neighbourhood and it’s never taken care of, the equipment is rusted and causing cuts. These kids deserve a safer park to play at.

The burrs and equipment at this park made it very unsafe and barely usable . Lots of kids still try to use the park, but less and less are coming as it’s not a practical place to play anymore. The neighborhood would really benefit from a revitalized and safe playground.
