For many Iranians, immigration is not a choice—it is a rescue from an oppressive regime and a chance to build a normal life\.
Blocking Iranians from taking the PTE is unfair and discriminatory\. Regime officials have wealth and connections; they do not need a language test to leave Iran\. The people harmed by this restriction are ordinary Iranians who are already suffering\.
Please do not punish the victims of an oppressive regime by creating more barriers to their only path to have a normallife

I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

Pearson’s policy states that Iranian nationals who can prove their primary residence outside Iran may still take the PTE. However, many Iranian passport holders legally residing in Canada and other countries have recently received cancellation emails. Please do not cancel exams solely based on nationality. We have done nothing wrong—we simply need a fair opportunity to take a language test for our education, careers, and immigration applications.

I am an Iranian. It’s not fair to our young generation to be treated like this. People of Iran are separate from Islamic republic.

It's not fair to ban the Iranian residents from building their future.pte test is a door for a better future for many of them.
I’m signing this petition because access to an English proficiency test should not be taken away from people simply because they live in Iran. This decision can seriously affect students, professionals, and anyone trying to pursue education or opportunities abroad.

Everyone deserves equal access to international professional exams. Iranian candidates should not be excluded based on their nationality.
