Blocking everyday students and professionals from taking international English exams like the TOEFL and PTE doesn't harm regimes, it only crushes human potential. Education and language are universal rights, not political weapons. Denying Iranians the chance to prove their English skills shuts the door on global academic opportunities, scholarships, and career growth for an entire generation of innocent people.

I know many talented and highly skilled people in the country who are going to lose their future because of this. It’s not fair at all

This is not fair to us at all. We are ordinary people, students who need these language tests to continue our education.

In recent years, Iran has been denied the right to participate in various language tests, and every day the situation in Iran is becoming more difficult than in other neighboring countries. Please help restore the situation.

I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

Please don’t cancel Pearson exams for Iranian candidates.
We have spent months preparing and have paid significant amounts for our exams, travel, and accommodation.
We understand that there may be security or operational concerns, but Iranian candidates should not be punished for circumstances beyond our control.
We kindly ask Pearson to find a fair solution instead of canceling our exams.
Please respect our time, money, and months of hard work.
We just want the opportunity to take our exam

This should be a right for all human kinds and this kind of restrictions seem so unfair!

This restriction on an international examination directly targets the innocent and defenseless people of Iran, rather than the corrupt Iranian regime. It prevents many highly skilled and qualified Iranian professionals from pursuing opportunities abroad, which ultimately harms immigration-friendly countries, including Australia, by depriving them of access to a valuable pool of skilled professionals.
