Why are Iranians deprived of taking this exam? It is brutal and unfair.

Because I originally from Iran and I completely believe that all of the genius young generation deserve to live free and this type of exam is a best way to evaluate themselves and they can apply for living in other countries for study or life.

I respectfully ask Pearson to reconsider this restriction on Iranian residents. Students and professionals should not lose access to PTE Academic simply because they live in Iran. Please consider a lawful solution that allows Iranian residents to take the exam at authorized centers abroad.

Because it's ignoring the majority of people who want to immigrate and spend a lot of time and money for this exam

Educated people in Iran need this exam as part of their plans to migrate and pursue their careers abroad. It is simply unfair to spend so much time, effort, and money preparing for an exam, only to be unable to take it because of circumstances beyond their control.
Please distinguish the Iranian people from the Iranian government when it comes to sanctions. Ordinary people should not have to bear the consequences of political decisions they have no control over.

Why should ordinary Iranian people pay the price for political issues? Many have spent months or years learning another language, studying and working hard to build a better future. These are educated, hardworking and ambitious people who can make valuable contributions to society. Denying them access to the PTE does not punish a government — it punishes innocent individuals and destroys their hopes and opportunities. Please do not make ordinary people responsible for the actions of a government

I believe this restriction may unintentionally prevent many talented and genuine Iranians from reaching their potential. As an Iranian who built a successful career as a carpenter and cabinet maker in Australia, I know how important these opportunities can be. I respectfully ask Pearson to consider fairer ways to address security concerns without limiting the future of an entire population.

I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

I am Iranian and currently preparing for the PTE exam. This restriction directly affects my future education and immigration plans. I believe it is unfair to lose access to an internationally recognized English test simply because I am an Iranian resident.

Education and academic opportunities should remain free from geopolitical sanctions and geopolitical barriers. Pearson Academic tests ought to be accessible to all qualified candidates worldwide. I am signing this petition to demand equal access and an end to nationality-based restrictions for Iranian test-takers.
