This is very important to all Iranian people who want to immigrate to another country. Lots of them dedicated several years to get prepared for this exam.

This sanction clearly demonstrates the depth of the U.S. government's hostility toward the Iranian nation. The American administration has shown that it will stop at nothing—no matter how unjust or indiscriminate—to achieve its political objectives. By targeting standard academic examinations, it is not punishing a government; it is punishing ordinary students, professionals, and aspiring minds who seek nothing more than education and better future.

Because cancelling the PTE exam makes it much harder for Iranian candidates to achieve their migration and career goals.

I signed this because it is deeply inequitable to bar Iranians from Pearson examinations. This exclusion creates unnecessary barriers for many educated and capable people, negatively impacting their career trajectory, educational goals, and ability to emigrate.”

It’s the definition of modern racism in society! Boycotting basic rights of anyone is competing based on on ther merits! This is exactly what DEI is all about and systemic racism in one of the top educational institutions that is aiming to harm an specific ethnicity! Not a rogue terrorist regime! It’s target racism on the fundamental level towards Iranian who aren’t illegal immigrants! Not refugees! Those who are doing everything by the book and respecting the constitution! Such a shame 🤦🏻‍♂️

“Access to standardized testing like Pearson is crucial for personal and professional development. By signing this petition, I am expressing my opposition to the current policy that prevents qualified Iranians from participating in these exams, which serves as a significant impediment to their academic and professional success.”

It is racial injustice and exclusion and has nothing to do with sanctioning a regime but harming people from Iran

I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for a fair and legally permissible way for Iranian residents to demonstrate their English proficiency and pursue their academic and professional futures.
