I want SWLSB to preserve OLP unless it can demonstrate, with concrete enrollment, financial, transportation and educational evidence, that closing or restructuring it provides a better outcome for the children.

I was very lucky to do an internship at this school, the staff and students were very welcoming and friendly. This is a wonderful school and should not be closing what so ever. I haven't seen a group of teachers, staff that are as caring and hardworking as the staff at OLP.

We understand that the Board has difficult decisions to make, but we sincerely hope that, when considering OLP’s future, you will look beyond numbers and recognize the unique community and sense of belonging this school provides.

A small school is beneficial for kids that have special needs. Not all kids thrive in big schools.

Our elementary school is an important part of our community. This school is more than just a building—it is a place where children learn, grow, make memories, and build meaningful relationships. Closing it would have a significant impact on our children, families, staff and our community. Keeping our school open means protecting a place that matters deeply to so many of us.

Both of my children attended OLP, and we couldn’t have asked for a better school community. The staff are truly wonderful, the principal is exceptional, and the sense of community is something very special. OLP is more than just a school, it’s a place where children feel supported, valued, and cared for, and where families become part of a wonderful community. It would be such a loss to see that disappear!

Exceptional school with teachers and staff that actually care about their students Both my kids had an amazing experience throughout their 7 years and as a Governing Board member for 6 years I experienced firsthand how the students are the #1 priority for the school. We need more schools like this

I went to OLP. Its location is great. Away from electric field (although low emf) not necessary to expose our children daily to this type of frequencies. I believe we should ve promoting English schools more and pushing back the French to keep our English schools. We cannot slowly dissappear.

I have proof that OLP is an amazing school and my alumni children are thriving in great part to the education and values that OLP provides them with

This is an amazing school and so close knitted ! We don’t want it to be closed. Also please consider the location of twin oaks and those big electric towers all around, this is not healthy for children
