Closing an English-language school in Laval would further reduce access to English-language education and services for the local anglophone community. Displacing students from the schools, friends, teachers, and familiar environments they know can also create unnecessary disruption to their education and sense of stability.Rather than closing schools to address the school board’s financial challenges, we believe other solutions should be explored. Don’t make children pay for the debt.
