TV chat is where I share my losses, my triumphs and share my trading experience with others. It’ll be a tragic loss to see it go.

Keep TradingView Chat Available for Existing Users
We request that TradingView maintain access to the public chat for all existing users, as it remains an essential part of the platform and provides significant functional value to the trading community.

Public chat is a core feature of the platform which is Community. Community is what made Tradingview what it is today, the rest charts and such can be obtained elsewhere. As a new comer the only thing that got me into trading is the community and the lessons you learn while experiencing the market together. For me they are taking the reason I subscribed to this platform.

TV, if you kill chat rooms on your platform, you will have many many cancelations, and will be losing so lots of users and money. A really bold and stupid move on your part.

Keep the old chats open, traders can moderate what they read themselves.

Trading is boring, having an accessible public chat room makes it fun.

Public conversations in the lounges / trade room were perhaps the strongest feature of this platform, which weighed heavily in the decision to choose and purchase a subscription. All the other elements so-called 'super charts' or 'screeners' or generic indicators you can find elsewhere, not just here (and in addition on other platforms you will not encounter the draconian limitations in Pine Script). The conversation in the lounges was the only real strong point.
