The year-back policy places a severe mental burden on students by preventing those who have completed two years of study from entering the third year due to pending subjects, resulting in the loss of an entire academic year. Recent student suicide cases, including those reported in CUSAT, highlight the urgent need for academic policies that reduce unnecessary stress and support student well-being. We respectfully request the University to ensure the welfare of the thousands of students.

As per the current regulations, students are required to secure minimum cumulative credits for registration to higher semesters. Reports and student notices related to the 2024 scheme mention credit requirements such as 18 credits from S1 & S2 for S5 registration and 37 credits from S1–S4 for S7 registra

We, the students of Kerala Technological University (KTU) under the 2024 Scheme, respectfully request the University to reconsider and remove the year-back system. While we understand the importance of maintaining academic standards, this policy places immense academic, mental, and financial pressure on students. A temporary academic setback should not force a student to lose an entire year, as it delays graduation, affects higher education and placement opportunities.

മാഡം ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ sem 5th ഇലേക്ക് കയറാൻ നിക്കുന്ന എനിക്ക് year back ഫേസ് ചെയുന്നു ഞാൻ . മാഡം ഞാൻ second sem പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ exam ടൈം ഞാൻ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ്‌ ആയിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ kideny failure ആയിട്ട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ഇൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ്‌ ആവേണ്ടി വന്നു അതുകൊണ്ട് second sem exam എഴുതാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല മാഡം അതിൽ നിന്നും റിക്കവർ ആവാൻ ടൈം എടുത്തു പിന്നെ 3rd sem വേണ്ടത്ര focous ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല പിന്നെ supply അപ്ലൈ ചെയ്തിട്ടും പഠിക്കാൻ പറ്റാതെ ആയി മാഡം ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം കൂടെ ഒരു അവസരം തരുമോ ലോൺ എടുത്തു പഠിക്കാണ
