Im signing this petition because i think that it is the students interest where as their responsibility and their risk to write down the supplymentary exams and clear them when they get the time instead of forcing them to study the same subjects again

Respected Sir/Madam, We, the students under the KTU 2024 Scheme, humbly submit this petition regarding the difficulties faced due to the implementation of the year back / minimum credit system. As per the current regulations, students are required to secure minimum cumulative credits for registration to higher semesters. Reports and student notices related to the 2024 scheme mention credit requirements such as 18 credits from S1 & S2 for S5 registration and 37 credits from S1–S4 for S7 registra

It doesn't seem fair to use an extremely strict marking system. Make it easy for the children, they will learn eventually.

Respected sir/madam, We respectfully request KTU to reconsider the year-back rule for 2024 scheme students. Many students are just a few credits short despite putting in sincere effort. A year back would significantly affect our academic progress, mental well-being, and financial situation. We kindly request the university to provide a fair opportunity for affected students to continue to the next year while clearing their pending credits through supplementary examinations.

The KTU 2024 year-back policy places excessive academic, financial, and mental pressure on students. Losing an entire academic year due to a credit shortage is a disproportionate consequence that delays graduation, placements, and higher studies. We respectfully request KTU to review and revise this policy to provide a fairer and more student-friendly academic system.
