Due to academic difficulties and the challenges faced during the course, we have not been able to secure the required credits within the stipulated period. Losing an entire academic year would have a significant impact on our education, financial situation, and future career opportunities.
We believe that the present implementation of the yearback rule has created significant difficulties for students due to several exceptional circumstances beyond their control.

We, the students under the KTU 2024 Scheme, humbly submit this petition regarding the difficulties faced due to the implementation of the year back / minimum credit system.
As per the current regulations, students are required to secure minimum cumulative credits for registration to higher semesters. Reports and student notices related to the 2024 scheme mention credit requirements such as 18 credits from S1 & S2 for S5 registration and 37 credits from S1–S4 for S7 registra

Things never turn out the way we expect. Even after working so hard and studying with great effort, the situation we are facing now is very disappointing. First of all, the valuation (answer paper evaluation) has never been fair or accurate. Even though students under the 2014 B.Tech scheme need only 24 marks to pass, the valuation process has been so poor that the pass percentage and chances of passing have become very low.

As a student, I believe the year-back system can severely impact our future, including placements, higher education, and personal plans. Many students face genuine difficulties and deserve an opportunity to recover academically without losing a full year. I request KTU to reconsider this policy and provide a fair solution for affected students.

Kindly requesting the ktu to take a good decision regarding the year back system for these students and we are facing issue issues like mental illness and financial difficulties for this.

The 2024 KTU Year Back Scheme has adversely affected many students by delaying graduation, increasing financial burden, and causing mental stress. Being separated from their classmates has also impacted students' confidence, motivation, and career opportunities.

I am writing this to inform respected KTU UNIVERSITY the year back policy has made us students full of confusion and fear of not being able to enter the s5 semester of BTech as students we would like to enter the s5 semester and complete the course within the 4 year many are facing financial and mental problems due to this year-back policy the fear of being removed from the next semester and have to wait for the supplementary exam results is great problem for us students
