The 'Year Back' system is causing severe mental and emotional distress to students. At APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), we often face situations where we perform well and expect to pass, only to be marked as failed. This discrepancy in evaluation, coupled with the 'Year Back' policy, is devastating to our academic careers. I earnestly request the university to abolish the 'Year Back' system to prevent further impact on students' well-being and futures

We, the undersigned students of the 2024 Scheme, request KTU to reconsider the year-back policy for our batch. Many students were not clearly informed about the year-back rules and credit requirements at the beginning of the course. Since this policy can significantly affect academic progression, we believe such information should have been communicated clearly during admission and orientation.
