We do not have room for more homes. We need more schools and more grocery stores instead of homes.

There are too much houses going in Knoxville and making our beautiful city over crowded. And this rezoning is against our laws. Please put a stop to this and leave or agriculture alone.

There’s too many housing developments going in and around strawplains! The infrastructure can not handle it. The schools are already overcrowded! Carter elementary school couldn’t handle the student load when it was built. Find somewhere else to build your developments.

We have enough up here. Roads don’t support it, schools can’t support it and this food city can’t support it.

They are trying to destroy the country by turning it into city with so much traffic that you can't go anywhere. This needs to stop we're looking like Atlanta, pathetic pushing people out of their homes by building on top of them with more housing

Land conservation for natural wetlands should be prioritized over making be cookie cutter developments that no one wants. Keep East Tennessee wild and beautiful, no one wants it to turn into a concrete metropolis. Remember why the TVA was created.

We should be keeping land sacred for agriculture and nature life

Why in the world should we continue to subdivide and cut up more and more properties? So that speculative investors can gut communities and make money hand over fist. There's no thought to long term planning, no motive other than greed. Strike this down.

Land zoned Rural Conservation and Hillside Ridgetop Protection should not be rezoned to residential! Please respect previous land studies in this area and deny this rezoning!

People want to live here because they like the small town feel and the mountains, but if they keep building homes there will not be a small town nor any mountains left... it will all be the big city you want to get away from now! We NEED green spaces to keep our earth healthy and thus ourselves healthy! STOP BUILDING JUST BECAUSE YOU SEE THE SMALLEST SPECK OF LAND!!!

This isn't only happening there but all over East Tennessee. Rural areas are being turned into housing developments/apts./condos. All the beauty that is East Tennessee is being bulldozed. Didn't we learn anything from when they over developed West Knoxville?! It has to stop

This property borders my family cemetery and my property is just through the woods. The property has creeks and is hillside protected . The elementary school is directly across the rd wirh traffic backups daily.

#1 If y'all keep rezoning arable FARMLAND and zoning out cattle & livestock grazing, what are y'all/we going to eat? Our food DOESN'T just come from the store, ya know!
#2 Our current roads & infrastructure can't sustain any more large scale housing & apartments and who's going buy/rent them; especially at the prices currently being charged!
Or is this so y'all can sneak in a few more data centers? We don't want them either!
Get your developers to help clean up our rivers & streams instead!

There are several apartments, condos and subdivision that have gone in within less than 5 miles of my Condo Community. The roads are over crowded.

There is more traffic on the roads than previous years. Adding homes without a traffic control plan is dangerous.

My family is buried in that cemetery and I am truly fearful that anything done around the area will likely be harmful to the historical cemetery.
We also don't have the roads to support that many more families. Traffic is horrible on Strawberry Plains Pike already with the elementary school traffic. There will be lots of accidents trying to pull out of that neighborhood. Please stop and DON'T vote yes to this rezoning. This is not the area for this. Leave the preservation in place.
