I have person been discriminated against in family court for being pro se. I was forced into this position due to denial for attorney fees. Disparity in income, alimony, and career sacrifices need to be re-addressed in FL. It place women at a major disadvantage especially since women make less than men on average. It should not leave a woman in major debt simply trying to leave abuse and coercive control.

My son is experiencing biased judgements and has had false allegations made against him. The kids mother has lied over and over. She has publicly slandered him multiple times on Facebook. Basically she can do and say anything without consequences. The courts turn a blind eye to all of these things and punishes a good dad who wants to be with his kids. All evidence, testimony and documentation shows her inconsistencies and false statements with zero evidence.

Family court is corrupt and it’s out of control. It’s kangaroo court, and varies county by county— not even state by state. The law must be changed and judges must be held accountable. This is not OK.

My sons bio father ended up touching him inappropriately after the judge basically told us she was giving him unsupervised visits. They don't consider past history of violence or sexual assault or drug use etc. Finally my husband was able to adopt my son after we went back to court after the final incident... had the judge and court not been corrupt that would never have happened.
