When these laws are pushed aside, the harm is felt far beyond the ceremony itself. Families lose a trusted way of guiding young people, elders lose a role they have long held, and communities are left with decisions being made far away from the people most affected.
We understand the need for public safety, dignity, and the protection of young people. But those goals should not come at the cost of erasing customary practices that have served communities for many years. Any law that affects initiation must be shaped with the people who live these traditions, not imposed in a way that silences them.
We call on the relevant authorities to review CIA Act 2(2021), stop any measures that suppress customary initiation laws, and work with traditional leaders and affected communities to protect these laws in a fair and respectful way.
Our demand is simple: respect customary initiation laws, protect community authority, and ensure that no law strips people of their cultural rights and traditions.

To object the CIA posed to us without consultation
It's because of CIA Act 2 (2021) since they come up laws that will disclose our secret there in Initiation School. So all in all we don't want anything to do with does rules we need to respect our culture
