I have too many trees and 3 of them are not even on my property. They belong to the town and every year I have to rake and bag them. After doing this for 23 years, it is way overdue. I’ve done my share!

Bagging leaves is bad for the environment! They should be composted to benefit Penfield parks, nature paths and to be added to the mulch pile @ the Town Hall for residents to use.

Every year I mulch my leaves but my neighbors do not. They bring their leaves to the curb and leave them there all winter. Spring is a is always a mess on our street!

I’ve lived in several towns over the years and this is the only one that doesn’t provide this service, and it has the highest taxes of everywhere I have lived. We cannot burn them, so we should have a reasonable alternative. This may be a fake narrative, but I have heard it was said that the reason is that not every home owner has mature trees so it makes it unfair. I also do not have any children, but I pay my school taxes every year without objection.

It's just not economical top pay someone to come get them and it is also very labor intensive to remove them. Everywhere else has leaf pickup. It's time to get this done.

I’m an older woman who has to take my own leaves and can’t afford to have someone take them away for me. I don’t even know where I would drop them. I pay the same taxes as the other towns.
