This area has no room for apartments. It’s already congested. Adding apartments would make it more cramped. Also, the street was just reopened not to long ago. I don’t think it’s safe enough for even more traffic passing through. There’s plenty of other areas to go build on. Could you imagine if a fire broke out?!

This would cause chaos in case of a natural disaster. Getting out of that tight location would be disastrous not only for the new tenants but for those that already live in the area.

Take this project north of the freeway 78 and Hovley Rd.

I do not feel this is a suitable area. The road into this development is directly behind Phil Swing school. The expense to build there would be a huge expense to complete the job correctly. Definitely will be a negative impact on the community.

No, this is not a wise build.

This is a horrible idea. The area is way too small and crowded as it is. No, no, no!

There are many other locations better suited to this type of development.

Flooding and homelessness very nearby. School nearby is maxed out. East side of town has more potential for better family housing.

For safety and I dont want all the traffic. I thought that area is considered a flood zone and cant build on it

We oppose the proposed apartment complex near Pat Williams Park because it could increase traffic, reduce available open space, place additional strain on local infrastructure, and change the family-friendly character of one of Brawley’s most valued recreational areas. We believe protecting green space and ensuring adequate planning for roads, parking, and public services should be prioritized before approving this developm

Increased crime , traffic next to pre school . Over crowding Phil swing. Increased crime and traffic in all surrounding areas . Probable flooding and fire issues .

I don’t believe that the are is well suited for this kind of housing. The are is not really ready for the amount of traffic that would be expected. Seems money could be spent other ways.

NO!!! As a resident a block away from proposed location, this is a horrible idea.

Lack of access in and out of the property and the risk of fire danger that I have witnessed during the past 40 years makes this project foolish.

I live in the area and I can tell you that there is no reasonable access for first responders in the case of an emergency
