I live in Harborview and do Not think the roads can handle the traffic with this new proposal. It will disrupt the peaceful community, reduce property value, and honestly will cause me to leave Norwalk permanently.

This will cause massive traffic problems to our already stressed streets. It should be a peaceful park and place for city residents only.

I am a long-time resident of Norwalk who supports the APPROPRIATE development and use of Manresa. The suggested changes are very premature.

Totally support it for a natural park for Norwalk residents and others for a fee. The site nor streets are capable of handling safely the traffic today let alone with what is proposed

Don’t create an unsustainable project without studying it first. Listen to residents. Slow down.

This revised application is a last minute complete change from all the nice “propaganda” that’s been marketed up till only weeks ago. Also, I’ve been told that the applicant’s attorney has been known to entertain members of Zoning Board at her home which would be a conflict of interest…

The key to MW being a successful and welcome neighbor will be to limit the on-site parking to the number of cars that can smoothly and safely exit. That number cannot be known currently so P&Z should impose a very low cap in the meantime.

Traffic is already miserable.. and flooding is common on all incoming routes to the site. Parking is already limited for those who live here and/or use Woodward Park. There is no reason to approve a special permit which would remove the public’s voice in development considerations. There is no plan for road and other infrastructure management. One step at a time…..!!

P&Z needs to conduct thorough independent studies of the potential impact of the zone change requested by Manresa Wilds before proceeding with a vote on this item.

This zoning will have a direct negative impact on traffic, parking, the environment, the communities surrounding Manresa, but most importantly, the plans associated with this zoning are nothing like what Norwalk residents were led to believe would happen. This project will hurt the quality of life for Norwalk residents and is no longer a community project, as it was initially presented.

This project will be a nightmare for residents. The traffic, pollution, trash, etc. this needs to be drastically scaled back to protect the lands. Former resident of village creek
