We need one more Training & Placement coordinator from Mechanical A section for placements in the year 2026–2027.
At present, we have 3 TNP coordinators, but that is still not enough compared with last year, when we had 5. In practice, one coordinator is unavailable at different times, so the work falls on too few people. This creates unnecessary pressure and makes it harder to manage placement-related tasks smoothly for students.
We respectfully ask that the total number of TNP coordinators be increased to at least 4. This would help distribute the responsibility more fairly and ensure better support throughout the placement process.
Since Mechanical B section already has 2 TNP coordinators, it is reasonable to have one more TNP coordinator from Mechanical A section as well. This would keep the representation balanced and make the team stronger for the year ahead.
Placements are an important part of our final year, and students depend on timely coordination, clear communication, and steady support. A slightly larger team will help the section handle the workload better and serve students more effectively.
We therefore request approval for one additional TNP coordinator from Mechanical A section for 2026–2027.
