I grew up two blocks from Roosevelt Park in Glenview, Illinois - baseball Diamond, ice skating in the winter, community center with snack bar overlooking the greatest public pool ever (round, slides, diving island, neon lights at night) and would love to be a part of this……

I remember going to the Bronco games with my dad. He spent alot of time and money and was personal friends with the broncos his name is Neil Kasperek and as he has passed like the stadium will, I think changing it into something just as beautiful and glorious as the stadium for the broncos fans and the ppl of Denver is an AWESOME idea.

If Denver wants to be a better place to live - it needs to do things such as the - based in the infrastructure to move people to the current mile high stadium - it should be continued but bringing people to park!! Especially with the future mile end and ball arena developments. This park needs to happen for Denver to continue as a great city - otherwise concrete jungle will continue and it shouldn’t in this site

The Trust for Public Land has a good website about parks in US cities. Denver ranks OK (number 11 overall) but is bad total city acreage used for parks (10% in Denver against a national average 15%). We could change this.
