LINCOLN COUNTY MISSOURI RESIDENTS' PETITION FOR A MORATORIUM

Solar Farms, Data Centers, and/or Battery Storage Facilities are NOT in the best interest of Missouri residents. Most of Missouri prides itself on a rural lifestyle which generates food for America. Using good farmland for storage facilities or other Data center needs is short sighted and greedy. Taking away the people's ability to produce their own food results in more power and control given to the government which is NOT something Missouri wants.

I believe that these sites can and should be built in areas where there is minimal population and on land that is otherwise not suitable for other purposeful uses such as farming or housing. Additionally, solar fields should likewise be prohibited in populated areas and on land that could otherwise be used for agricultural purposes.

I do not believe we need or want this in our area. It will destory life as we know it now, and do harm maybe death to us and our pets livestock and wildlife. Solar will make the area so much hotter and erosion will be unbelievable.We need to stop this movement. Our place is in the middle of the planned solar area. Property values will become low and our taxes wont go down.
