LINCOLN COUNTY MISSOURI RESIDENTS' PETITION FOR A MORATORIUM

To protect the citizens of Lincoln County, a 12 month moratorium is needed to find the environmental and human impacts these types of facilities create. It also gives time to create a ballot proposal to decide on Planning and Zoning. Because I firmly believe the decision shouldn't be decided by 3 people sitting at the court house, I believe it should be decided by the will of the people. Once the voters have made the choice then the county can move forward in that direction.

My parents are property line neighbors with the proposed solar farm. They have horses, mules, pony, chickens, wildlife, and grandchildren/great grandchildren. Solar farm being a neighbor is not what is needed or healthy for their animals, littles and themselves!

The 3 farms around us have sold to Ameren for solar fields. This includes the farm directly next to us. The property line/fence is 150 ft from my barn door. I have 8 horses. What will the additional heat from solar fields do to my horses health and to me hay field?

I did not move out here to have a view of solar fields, Bess centers etc. this affects neighboring properties home values, can potential cause harm to livestock as well as more issues. Would you want this next to your property? That is what you need to ask yourself when voting, if the answer is no then stick up for the community you are supposed to represent!

Many, many things need to be discussed about the ethics of taking farmland and habitat instead of using spaces occupied by abandoned malls or sites near chemical waste dumps people should not be living near anyway.

The solar panels and batteries will pollute the farmland for generations with Toxic heavy metals. The risks to our homes and businesses are at risk while our volunteer firefighters deal with this massive pollutant WHEN catches on fire. We should not be taxed more to pay for a fire department. We do not bear the responsibility of Ameren's actions. They need to have their in fire dept (fully funded by them) for their unique needs. The livestock will suffer if we are evacuated for toxic smoke.

Don’t want a toxic water sucking data center anywhere up here !!!! There are facts that these centers use too much water , don’t get put out with water ) strain on fire departments , bad for the animals and wildlife and toxic to humans
