Eliminating water fowl habitat, increased night lighting, car traffic, noise pollution, undoubtedly more boat traffic on what is a small lake. Oakpointe developer should provide average on the Ten Trails "city" property they are currently building and not ruin the Lake Sawyer area.

This is the last remaining natural area around Lake Sawyer. It needs to stay undeveloped and natural for the wildlife and aquatic life. Save our natural areas on the lake for peaceful and serene access to fishing and kayaking. Once developed it is completely lost for wildlife habitat. It’s absurd that Ten Trails expects to destroy the last natural area on the lake. Stop Ten Trails overreach!

Oakpointe should build the ball fields on Oakpointe property, not a regional park which is home to wildlife (bears, deer, birds, rabbits) and is used as open space by many people. Also, 312th is not nearly large enough to support traffic in and out of regional ball fields. Lastly, I am concerned that the artificial turf of ball fields will leach into and pollute the water of Lake Sawyer. In sum, it makes no sense to build ball fields on Lake Sawyer Regional Park.

Our small community has disappeared with the invasion of the Ten Trails housing development. Our peace is gone. Our forests and its animal habitat have been trampled. How can you come into my home, where I’ve lived my entire 53 years on this earth, and continue to take away everything that makes the Lake Sawyer community what it once was??? The park is our park. It is a place where we grew up exploring and enjoying, and now you want to destroy it for your own greed. GET LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ball parks can be built any place, lakes cannot. Places like this need to continue to exist to support community engagements we need welcoming spaces for people to enjoy or escape or just spend quality time with themselves or others. We do NOT need another athletic facilitie for spoiled kids and rich parents and we all know there fields won’t be free or open to the public. Keep the lake, build elsewhere

The Lake Sawyer park needs to be kept natural and a place for hikers and bicyclists. The animals have already been pushed out of Ten Trails, they need a place to go. The lighting and traffic would be a detriment to the eagle population. The ball fields should go within the already logged Ten Trails property, as originally planned. Keep the park peaceful as it is now.

The park is an environmental treasure available to all. Not everyone and everything needs structure. Solitude, quiet and personal reflection all happen in the woods. We don’t need anymore noise. Use the already existing ball fields at the schools and other facilities near by that are paid for already with our tax dollars.

There are no requirements to build ball fields at the regional park. Oakpoint should be required to build ball fields on their own property for the benefit of their new residents. There are already a large displacement of elk in the area because of the new development. We do not need to take away more of their natural habitat.

Ten Trails has had a negative impact on Black Diamond and vicinity. Building ballfields at Lake Sawyer would place a burden on the entire community in terms of noise, light pollution and traffic. The Ten Trails community should be the entity bearing this burden.
