This day hospital is crucial where it is. It should not be moved. I understand that it needs an upgrade, not to be relocated. If they wish to make it bigger to also deal with the heavy influx of patients daily, that will be a help to this struggling community, but with a bigger facility more staff is needed and I am not sure if that's possible, seen that less doctors and more nursing staff on duty day to day.

The current location is central and easily accessible. Tbe new location is in close procimity to Grassy Park CHC which will now create a financial burden on already struggling communities Ottery, Lotus River and surronding. It's in a fairly safe location. It's become and iconic part of our community. Instead build more hospital so people don't have to go outside their community to access Primary Health Care Services.

It makes no sense to move the space. The location does not make sense and it will be awkward to have a road bend and also trying to pull into the clinic. Make it make sense. Keep the hospital where it is and revamp it.

It provides clinical care, family care and support to the community that's already in a poverty system, to take it away it will deprived the people of their rights to health care in the area.

A walking distance for most pensioners in the surrounding area that has been with this Lotus River Day hospital over 30 years is so convenient . Due to cost of living most doesn't have the extra income using transport if it's further away .

Ive been attending that facility (as well as my late husband for more than 30yrs. Even tho Ive now moved, I still collect my meds there, despite having now drive there whilst I had it delivered when living in the area. Ive always believe despite the ongoing changes, it still is one of the best Health Care Centres from what Ive experienced and heard (about others). PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE IT OR MOVE IT!

Our community, especially the elderly attend this day hospital. Most of them walk to the clinic. With the cost of living they will not be able to travel to a clinic out of this area. I sincerely hope that the clinic will serve this community for many years to come.
