He recently got ‘cancelled’ from hosting on AirBnb for allegedly having expressed ‘discriminatory’ views on Facebook. $10K worth of bookings vaporized in an instant.
AirBnb took the word of a malicious, bad actor from the hard left - likely a random individual engaging in discourse on FB and getting vindictive because s/he couldn’t win the debate - and took away Inge’s livelihood with a flick of a switch.
Inge Berge has hosted over 500 people as an AirBnb host since 2017 and has maintained ‘Superhost’ status throughout. He has never held any view that is discriminatory, racist or in any way in conflict with his work as a host. He has over 450 stellar guest reviews from all over the globe. There’s never been a hint of anything ‘discriminatory’ in any guest interaction.
Inge Berge holds moderate/center-right political views, and has expressed these openly on his personal Facebook page. Doing so often invites spirited discourse by participants holding varied views and beliefs.
This is not a legit reason to be ‘fired’ from a hosting platform to which he has brought tens of thousands of dollars in commission revenue.

Inge is a gracious rental host. He has provided hundreds with lovely and affordable accommodations. He in no way discriminates. I think it’s terrible the way Airbnb has handled this situation.
Inge is neither a racist nor discriminatory. He, however, has been attacked and slandered for daring to disagree with people who can't handle debate. Removing his listings from Air BnB, when you obviously didn't investigate the accusations in any way,, is unjust and uncalled for. He's a good, intelligent, open-minded man. Please reinstate him.
Inge is a very kind and funny man. There is not a racist or sexophobic cell in him. Inge should off course be allowed back on Airbnb. Pushing out a man as Inge is certainly not good for airpnb’s reputation.
Traveling all the way from Norway, I rented the flat in April last year. Everything was perfect. Inge is a great host. In a pluralistic society one should’t be canceled for political views. We need more discussions, not less.

Inge is many things, but a racist is not one of them. As much as I've disagreed with him politically on many matters (I lean pretty left these days), he stands for healthy debate, knows how to call a spade a spade, and bottom line: NONE OF THIS SHOULD MATTER because the issue at hand is whether he is fit to rent out his property on AirBNB. Period - full stop. For the love of all things holy, let this decision lie in how great his ratings are and not what one unhinged dissenter has to say.

I know Inge to be a man of high integrity who is friendly and open. He has been the victim of online harassment which is entirely unconnected to his hosting. I would politely ask that he be reinstated and that toxic online stalking not be rewarded. It's not only massively unfair to Inge, but to your customers in having their options arbitrarily limited.
