Optimal learning environment could be aided by uniform adjustment for temperature regulation. Extreme weather creates space for adaptations surely

With the hot weather even Ashlyns Pe kit is shorts and T shirt or tailored shorts and no blazers in this weather change

It makes complete sense. Smart can be pragmatic.

I understand it’s important for the school to set and maintain standards, but it also has a role to help the kids develop the judgement and decision-making skills they’ll need as adults. Allowing smart shorts during hot weather promotes wellbeing and personal hygiene, while reflecting the balanced, common-sense approach to dress that is normal in modern workplaces. This would better align to the school’s values of independence, inclusivity, and integrity, modelling respect to our young people.

I appreciate that you require the children to wear uniform to look smart and represent the school, however, in these hot conditions I believe that is possible while wearing branded school PE kit.

It’s too hot the students shouldn’t have to suffer, if other school are doing it so should we, it will keep the kids engaged in school work instead of melting in the heat.

its unfair they can't wear shorts when we can wear skirts

The boys came in wearing skirts a few years ago in protest of this exact thing. It would be sensible to allow PE kit or shorts, and forgo blazers, in weather such as this.
