After having to access both sites for mother-in-law and husband as they could not navigate public transport it is just so vital that parking is improved.

I had to park illegally having spent an hour trying to find a space & ended up getting to my appt with 1 minute to spare. I was not going to miss my Pre-Op appt hence panic parking Evidentally where I parked carried a £100 fine as I was in a Volunteer Driver space. For years a multi-storey car park has been refused by the Council. Please for once have some sense and allow one to be built.

I have given up trying to park at these hospitals. I now have to pay someone else to drive me there, park elsewhere and be summoned back when I am ready.

Clogged up access means buses as well as cars are stuck in traffic and appointments missed

Being ill is horrible. Being ill in hospital is even worse. Why add avoidable stress to a crisis that can’t be avoided

Apart from being extremely annoying & upsetting for it’s customers who have had to wait a long time for the appointments, it is costing the hospitals to much money in missed appointments.
It is a totally ridiculous situation created by Oxfordshire County Council that every sane person living in Oxfordshire could see happening with what they planning & doing.

If you're ill, makes sense that you need to be able to park. Park and ride is ok to use if you're healthy, but majority of people going to hospital aren't. Long, cold waits for a bus in the middle of winter after I was with my elderly father. Had to get a taxi to park and ride when he was finally discharged...ridiculous.

The NHS is a public service that employes wonderful professional people. The staff and the patients that they treat need to be able to get to and from hospital and not be fined and punished for doing so.

When already worried about attending an appointment it is not helpful to also be worried about finding a place to park, others showing rage and intimidating behaviour due to it, or even being concerned about missing the appointment.

My family members are in their 70's and 80's and need to drive to the JRH as public transport is not available to them. Some of them are disabled too.

Whilst I support and do active travel wherever possible, there are situations where public transport is not viable or safe. My mother was gravely ill with what turned out to be sepsis and I couldn’t get her to A and E due to gridlocked traffic. That hour could have had serious consequences. The stress for immunocompromised cancer patients like me of parking at the Churchill is awful. The lack of parking is ill-conceived and a solution that does not work and makes the lives of ill people harder.
