People go to a hospital because of illness and necessity. They don't go there for entertainment. Adequate parking should be available.

It’s vital that we are able to get to and from these hospitals and be able to park within a short timeframe not always have to wait for public transport

The parking is horrendous at both hospitals not good when you have appointments and can’t find a parking space we always take my parents so they won’t be late but unfortunately not everyone has that option

It’s the last thing you need when coming to the hospital, to be stuck with a parking problem. Needs sorting!

Its stressful going to hospital whether visiting or needing treatment without worrying if you can park. Not everyone can use public transport or afford a taxi

Wife was in for 8 days and had to leave home at 6:45am to ensure parking space to visit!

We visit the hospital several times a year for a number of different appointments. A second person always has to come as a driver to drop off because there is never anywhere to park. It can be really stressful. Considering it is a maternity hospital too, getting children in and out of car seats with the small spaces is near impossible.

I work at the JR & a majority of the time I'm driving around for ages trying to find a space & end up late for my shift.

Ridiculous situation, more parking required. Rip off cost to park when people are already suffering due to illness. Hard to get a bus with a broken ankle!

I'm under the renal team there and have to have regular appointments. If I get dialysis I will have to go three times a week for 4 hours a day.

The parking, or rather lack of, is appalling. When they tell you to allow anything from an hour to two hours to park you know there is an unacceptable problem. Patient numbers have increased well beyond capacity and will only get worse as housing developments in the county continues to escalate. The only answer is to build several multi story car parks.

It is extremely stressful and I could say borderline dangerous trying to park at JR hospital and I am a fairly able bodied person and a confident driver. I can only imagine how stressful it would be for an older person or someone who is very unwell. Time to modernise.

I took my daughter to A&E last week and I couldn’t park anywhere. I had to drive to Headington and park there and walk back to the JR. How terrible!

Parking costs are extortionate and should be free for patients and staff.
