Patients with bowel or stomach issues cannot use public transport. Blue badge parking is not sufficient. Public transport not always available.

I use this hospital for my son all the time. He has a lot of appointments. For us public transport is not an option as I have to collect him from school and drop him back. Do I have to choose between his health and education all because we cannot provide appropriate parking provisions.

Similar happened when my elderly mum was there for 5 days in February, it is absolutely DREADFUL There, more parking, like a multi-storey would be essential!

The parking situation is disgusting. Absolutely inappropriate for both staff and patients and needs changing. Churchill hospital is a cancer hospital and needs a multistory carpark for both patients and staff to park. Patients that unwell can't be expected to go by bus. Same with the JR. Many patients are too unwell to be expected to use park and ride.

Because usually people attending have time constraints and can't drive around for a space

The lack of parking at either hospital impacts detrimentally to an already difficult & anxious situation. We live in a rural area = a v limited bus service. It would involve 3 different buses to get to the JR. Absolutely not manageable with my elderly father with dementia & registered blind, nor with my daughter following her thoracic surgery. It’s ludicrous not having sufficient parking for both patients & staff - try working a 12 hr stressful day & then catch a bus to a P&R/staff parking

Not all people can travel by bus especially from out lying villages that have no bus service !!

For patients in rural Oxfordshire a bus is not an option. Councillors really need to wrap their heads around the fact that Oxfordshire is a predominantly rural county and many people do not have access to public transport.

Being disabled with severe mobility problems, I can't use public transport anyway. If I'm expected to continue with NHS care tell me how I'm going to get there?

I live in a village and if I were to go by (more than one) bus then it would be a journey of 2hours each way just on buses, not great if you are unwell, or have gastric issues!!

Hospital is stressful enough without have to arrive 2 hrs early to look for a parking space and standing at a bus stop in foul weather after having evasive treatment is a little in humane without an uncomfortable bus ride to boot . A bus ride with broken limbs is rather uncomfortable

With lack of parking patients are stressed and sometimes late for appointments. It’s not practical to expect patients to travel by bus, especially when the villages have an extremely limited service.

Stress trying to park when you have an appt to attend. Very hard dropping off disabled elderly patient off at reception ,when they are already stressed enough ,and you have to leave them there whilst taking ages to park. ( disabled not always available) .
