Im disabled and have been the victim of car rage while waiting to park. This was very stressful and upsetting. No one manages the disabled parking on L2. People drive both ways round which causes chaos and aren’t prepared to wait in a queue. It has taken me over an hour to park on many occasions. My husband spent 70 days as a patient in 2025 and I was asked by the dietitian to bring in nutritious food. This was often delivered late for the meal intended. JR parking is a dusgrace

Regular cancer appointments. Have to arrive over one hour early to try to park. Dreadful

Going to hospital is stressful enough without the worry of no parking when you get there or being charged for the time taken to drive around looking for a place. If you take someone with dementia/mobility issues, you can't just tell them to hop out and you'll meet them when they have finished! Recently my partner had to drive me and my mother so that I could get out with Mum and go to the appointment whilst he moved the car off site....should not need to be a whole family expedition!!!

When my husband was dying the last thing I needed was trawling around JR car park, horrendous, it made a difficult situation a lot worse.

My husband had a major heart operation and it would have relieved a lot of stress if the parking was more accessible. Why has a multistorey car park not been seriously considered?

Parking has always been an issue at the jr. But had gotten worse over time. More disabled parking is also needed. And getting the bus is very difficult for a lot of people.

I work there and it is difficult to park every day- I leave earlier to be able to park. I leave for work at 6.15am to be able to travel and avoid congestion charge - as I go down marsten ferry rd by 7am

UK Parking now issues a ticket as you enter the blue badge area at the Nuffield. They don't wait for a parking infringement to take place.

Over the last few years I’ve had occasion to visit the hospital with different people, and the parking unless you can get an early appointment is dire

No one visits the hospital for fun. It's stressful enough without the issues faced with parking.

I have had multiple visits to the Churchill hospital this year, with more to come. Each time we have had to wait for a space in a carpark, sometimes being in danger of being late for appointments. Improvements would be welcomed

Unable to park when attending for vital treatment and work! Last visit had to drive around for 40 minutes!
