Since 2023 I have had to visit both hospitals many times, and have always struggled to find parking especially at the JR, to the point of having to dump my husband and travel round for 30-40 minutes until I found a space

Parking company make millions from people's misery of being ill or have to make the journey for major hospital appointments the hospitals gave the job to private parking companies so they wouldn't have to maintain these parking spaces.parking at hospitals in Wales is free

It is a nightmare and very stressful trying to find a space especially when you are stressed out at having to go there in the first place.

Because we have to visit the hospital for treatment and it is traumatic if there are no parking spaces.

As a cancer patient I visit every three- four months. Parking is dreadful. I often resort to parking are Waitrose in Headington. Its shocking. I am a nurse and have no idea how we expect the sick, vulnerable and frail to drive around endlessly lookong gor parking adding to their worry about their hospital visit/ appointment. There just needs to be more parking for patients and their relatives please!

The frustration and stress of getting to an appointment in itself causes increased poor health. The fear is missing a long awaited for appointment. I sometimes arrive 2 or more hours before and appointment so I have plenty of time to wait for a parking space.

There are frequently not any free disabled bays for someone in a wheelchair, on oxygen with stage 4 COPD and ♡ failure. The hospital and staff are amazing. Parking and access really need improvement, including access to A&E. Thank you.

I have a couple of recent experiences using the trauma services at the JR, made a lot more stressful by the horrendous parking issues.

It can be so stressful when you are attending an appointment to find a space. Even turning up very early doesn't always help.

Going to hospital is stressful in itself, made much worse by the woeful lack of parking. This needs sorting asap.

Parking the car, even with a blue badge, with my immobile mother has been more stressful than the actual hospital appointments
