I am signing as it is almost impossible to park at the JR and Churchill hospitals. I attend appointments there every year.

To drive myself and be able to park cheaply!

Having had a relative in JR for 4 weeks I have seen the shocking waste of time and fuel and the pollution caused by the shortage of parking spaces

It’s absolutely incredible the council has not already approved this. Sick people in their relatives do not want to walk, or cannot walk to a hospital. Especially as they have closed so many of the surrounding hospitals, so we get people from all over the south of England coming to us. And they certainly don’t want to get a bus or a scooter. It’s not like people visit hospitals for fun. Let’s have a multistorey car park and take at least some of the stress out of being ill in Oxford.

Parking is essential at the hospital. Appointments are already stressful without the added pressure of trying to park. After a lot of procedures you're told not to use public transport for many reasons too.

Attending the womens centre is always stressful due to parking. How are we supposed to confidently choose john radcliffes for birth, when we can't guarantee a parking spot. Women in labour are not going to cycle or get the bus!

I regularly use the Churchill and JR and half the stress of going to appointments is trying to get parked! We need more/better parking at both hospitals.

Because trying to get to an appointment at the JR with my elderly mother is an absolute nightmare, spending so much time looking for a parking space.

Attending hospital is stressful and made worse by difficulty getting to the hospital. Insufficient parking and depending where you live in Oxfordshire, very long bus rides.

Takes too long to park

Being disabled, parking is almost impossible. The idiots at occ think everyone can walk , cycle or catch a bus , some of us are unable to get on a bus.

Hospitals visits can be a very stressful occasion. Spending up to an hour trying to find parking increases the stress a hundredfold.

Because sick people need the convenience of parking efficiently. They need to get to their appointments quickly and reliably.

So stressful. Need to get there hours before to ‘guarantee’ a spot and work, life just doesn’t allow you that

It is a nightmare to get somewhere to park. I am a blue badge holder hence why I need the car.

Parking is a shambles at the J R My wife missed her appointment because we could not park and we were there 50 minutes before it to try and park.

An absolute essential - parking at the JR is currently ludicrous.

I cannot drive my 88 year old disabled parents to hospital appointments as even blue badge parking is full. This forces us to use taxpayer-funded non- emergency hospital transport. This forces my frail parents already ill and in pain to get up extremely early to be ready hours before their appointments, to hang around for hours after their appointments, into old vehicles with NO suspension crashing in considerately over road humps and potholes leaving my Father injured afterwards.
