Parking needs improving. Everyone should be allowed to park. A multi story should be built.

I took my friend a few months ago. In the end I had to take her to the main entrance where she was able to get a porter to take her to her appointment. Blue badge space is not enough

I have missed appointments because I couldn’t find anywhere to park and was bringing my disabled father who could not travel by bus. I have been left alone in the main entrance whilst severely injured because my husband had to park the car. My mother who had Alzheimer’s and could not travel by bus (she became very frightened) missed important cancer appointments because we got stuck in a queue for the Carpark. The blind dogmatism insisting on bus transport is inhumane.

I make visits to the hospitals because of my own ailments, and also transport my wife to the JR each week as she volunteers which she has done for 16 years.
The reason I bring her is because of the difficulty of trying to park if she were to drive herself, and public transport is not a viable option from where we live. I hold a Blue Badge and I regularly find it impossible to access a parking space when I attend my own appointments which is really frustrating and extremely stressfull.

The only spaces available for the Tarver ward are for blue badge holders. I run in with my daughter most weeks and have been fined as I’m not a blue badge holder. And I struggle to find a space at the JR when running my wife in for her fortnightly physio.

There is no direct bus route to the JR from my village. I have to drive and use the P and R when attending appointments which was great but takes time or at least two buses which would take all day.
When my daughters were in NICU I had to visit daily for weeks, finding a parking space added unnecessary stress to an already stressful time. My first daughter was born in Gloucester hospital ,which is in the city and has a multi storey car park and I never had any issues finding parking spaces.

There is definitely not enough parking at the JR also needs more secure motorcycle parking.

I used to take the bus (with my granddaughter to guide me if I was going to the Eye Hospital!) Now I’m in my 80’s, though I can still drive, walking from the parking place I’ve found to the clinic can be difficult owing to joint pain.

About time common sense was applied to the problem.

It us almost impossible-to find a parking space and very costly if the appointment ( or a visit to the ER) takes a long time.

We need to be able to attend appointments, without the constant stress of parking issues.

I have regular appointments for eye treatment. Trying to find a space adds untold stress. Using public transport from where I live would take about. 3hrs plus on a good day. UNACCEPTABLE.

I visit all of the local Oxford hospitals very regularly and the most stressful part of my visits is finding a parking space. A multi storey car park is an ideal solution. Not everyone has the luxury of being driven there and back, so are unable to drivecaround multiple times to find a space.

To enable the community to have reliable access to the hospitals without having to catch at least 2 buses or wait for parking g spaces in when medical care is needed and when visiting patients

This is a "no brainer "request. It is very annoying to be told to arrive one hour early for an appointment to ensure a parking space

Much needed. Travelling from West Oxfordshire requires the use the car as public transport is not a viable option.

Need more parking spaces, especially for Blue Badge holders

Older /disabled people have enough to deal with in every day life, without having to work through the challenges of unhelpful parking and access to medical facilities. Clearly they have a need to be considered

The roads from the park and rides and bus routes are so poor. Potholes galore bouncing passengers about so definitely not good for poorly people. The time spent trying to find parking obviously has a knock on effect on appointments
