The roads from the park and rides and bus routes are so poor. Potholes galore bouncing passengers about so definitely not good for poorly people. The time spent trying to find parking obviously has a knock on effect on appointments

It's stressful enough to get to the J.R. let alone having to leave at least an hour to park up for your appointment.

A visit to the hospital is stressful enough without having to worry about missing the appointment because there is no where to park.

Experience of parking issues when taking my wife to the JR frequently following her acccdent 2 months ago. Have to leave Bicester at least 90 minutes before an appointment to ensure timely arrival for consultations and treatment

My wife is currently undergoing treatment at both the JR and Churchill hospitals and is finding it increasingly difficult and stressful to going to her appointments because of the parking issues. I therefore have to take her and drop her off. Oxfords constant traffic issues only add to the problem

Attending for an appointment at JR is very stressful due to difficulty of parking and, as a patient, public transport often isn’t feasible or appropriate.

There are times when going by public transport is not a viable option and a taxi is too expensive. Driving a car to take a loved one for treatment is by far the best option at these times.

I have to attend clinics and appointments and find it very stressful trying to park and being on time for appointments. My condition is affected by stress so it makes it incredibly uncomfortable and anxious experience when going to appointments. I have to have a relative take me, just incase I can’t get parked and they can then drive around and hope to jump into a space. Also people park on bends and on double yellow lines, making getting around the car park very difficult.

Parking has been a problem at the Oxford hospitals for decades and with the amount of new housing planned throughout the County it is only going to get worse. It is hugely stressful trying to park and be on time for appointments, park and rides are often already full and not everyone can take the bus due to physical comorbidities or dementia. It is particularly difficult for those living in rural parts of the County.

Long delays parking especially when you go to clinic you have to allow lots of extra time so you don’t get stressed about being late.

For such a large facility it doesn’t provide enough parking - it is often very hard to find a parking space, particularly during the day.

Stop building more services without appropriate parking. It’s incredibly stressful for the elderly and infirm and those supporting them to not be able to park on site. Staff also impacted.

I have lived around the UK and lots of hospitals have upgraded parking to multi storey etc, improved bus services from areas to the hospitals.
In Yorkshire they have also moved many services to town centres using old empty retail units to reduce traffic and parking to the main site.

Signing because you wait weeks for an appointment and it's cancelled if you're late. Had trouble parking everytime I have HAD to go
